At land parties I have actually been able to see the increased levels of success in my gaming friends who have gaming chairs. They get up to stretch and walk around much less frequently than my friends who go without, and I never hear them complain about back pains like those who do not have the luxury of using a Cozy Cush as a gaming chair. By taking less breaks and being spared from constant aching and suffering, their performance inevitably goes up when they have nothing stopping them. I myself not only enjoy the increased amount of comfort that a great gaming chair can provide, but I am also grateful for the many health benefits. I can now game without having to worry if my fun now will have grievous consequences in the future. It has also made a huge difference in my game performance. The benefits that a good gaming chair can provide are priceless, in so many ways.
If you have been gaming for hours on end and just can't figure out why you are still the last one picked for a mission, the first one out, last in line, or frankly the worst gamer out of your friends, let me tell you about what you are going without. A game chair. I know, I know. How is a game chair supposed to improve my game? Well I wasn't a believer myself until I became so desperate that I gave in and purchased one. The comfort and sheik style blew me away, but I was not quite sure how this chair was supposed to improve my game. After taking it to a few land parties I have since figured it out. My game chair does not give me any secret powers or anything silly like that, but because I am more comfortable and at ease when I play, I am conditioned for my very best. I am no longer fighting the constant backaches that I was previously, and my performance actually increased after all.
These chairs are also a big no no when it comes to durability. When you are really into the game you are far from sitting nice and still. Unexpected leanings and turnings are expected, and a gaming chair will never account for those if they are of solid plastic, or other materials that work against you. There are many features on these gaming chairs that are absurd and unnecessary, and they will prevent you from your victorious potential by getting in the way. Armrests are often in the way, too close together, or frankly uncomfortable when utilized. There is no size flexibility. At the end of the day, a bean bag chair is the better choice.
We are human. We make mistakes. We've all had our share of broken promises and regrets, but there is on lesson I life you do not have to learn on your own. Do not buy a gaming chair. A gaming chair often lures innocent gamers looking for the latest accessories to fit with their game, but just because something looks good does not mean it is. It is back to the whole don't judge a book buy its cover thing, etc. If you take a look at the logic behind a gaming chair, perhaps you can see where I am getting at. These usually made out of plastic awkward contraptions are anything but flexible, which is what you really need when you get into the game. A bean bag chair is much more suitable for what you are looking for in this instance. Plastic never has and never will be an item of comfort, so just because there are cool little swirly patterns on the arm wrests (which are in the way, mind you) does not change that law of physics. Plastic is a no go. Cool looking shapes are anything but natural, and should be avoided at all costs. Sometimes I see some gaming chair of those arched or stretched shapes and think they were made for the aliens in the game rather than the person playing.
